      Steps to Follow

Once you have successfully obtain your Second Home Visa for Indonesia, there are several critical steps you need to follow to comply with the visa requirements:

      1. Entering Indonesia:

Upon your arrival, you will be granted 90 days to meet the financial requirements. During this period, you must deposit $130,000 USD into an Indonesian bank account and report this transaction to the relevant authorities.

      2. Deposit Process:

It’s essential to ensure the funds are deposited within the specified timeframe. At this point, the bank will issue a reference letter as the attestation of your deposit. Be aware that the required deposit amount is USD 130,000, not IDR 2 billion as sometimes incorrectly stated.

      3. Bank Reference Letter:

Pay close attention to the letter you receive for the bank. In some cases, incorrect information from immigration regarding the bank reference letter can cause delays, requiring multiple visits to rectify the issue.

      4. Choosing the Right Immigration Office:

Determine the correct immigration office to visit based on your residential address, which ideally should match the one listed on your e-visa.

      5. Verification and Passport Return:

After you submit your documents and complete the verification process, it typically takes around 2-3 weeks for your passport to be returned. However, delays can occur, particularly if there are issues with the bank letter. Be sure to track when you submit your documents to immigration to manage expectations regarding the processing time.
